The fabric is like a sweatshirt, it’s very hot. The side closure if done, but does not open, is closed with a seam on the end of the neck. The cap is larger on one side than on the other since it joins the side closure, so if you want to put it on your head it is crooked. I asked for XL and it stayed right on my hip (I measure 123 hip cms), it doesn’t stretch much. The bag in front is not one like a kangaroo, they are two independent bags. That design of the bags helps to hide the belly a bit. It is very nice, yes I recommend it.

I’m really happy with this item. The outside feels almost like a light scuba fabric in the inside is fleece. Size up for a sporty relaxed fit. Please note the hood is not really functional as it’s sew in on a diagonal. Please see the photo for reference.
